I couldn't agree more! These Juon scores are a real treasure and highly musical. I find myself returning often to his Op.56 Moments Lyriques for which we have almost all the individual picees. All of his music that I've encountered so far is fairly easy to play and good teaching material. Thanks again, Alfor.

Special recommendation for op. 12, which contains some of J.'s best piano pieces (much Brahms influence). J.'s idom is a bit on the conservative side, but from a compositoral point of view there is no single weak note in his work!

Hi Alfor,

I also am delighted with the Juon pieces and like Malc, I also have just returned from vacation and hence my absence of comments. The Op.12 pieces are by far the most interesting of the Juon pieces seen so far and nice to see that he could write pieces of this caliber. Sounds a bit more like Schumann to my ears, and a most excellent set of pieces.

Yes, Schumann influence especially in No.2 Canzona and Brahms in No. 1 Capriccio and No.6 Ballade. Also a bit of Chopin in No.4 Etude.
