Trying to find out where to file away the 'Plessow' pieces I discovered that this name is a pseudonym for Ewald Walter. Here's the link to the page of pseudonyms where this appears: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 1&t=133384
Léon Jessel is mainly known as the composer of the operetta "Schwarzwaldmädel" (1917) which was extremely successful (more than 6000 performances within 10 years). Before that he had already composed this cute little piece - and much more of course in view of the opus number. If you don't know the piece, here you can enjoy it passively: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgRqKty2G7U . For the active alternative you have to find another piano player...(and a room with 2 pianos).

Trancripciones for 4 hands are very bad. I know because I touched. Very uncomfortable and sometimes even impossible to interpret as experience (and as desperation ) not bad touch.
