Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a piece
for four hands by Johann André (1741-1799).
So far I've come across his op. 44 in the BSB
in Munich (among several other ones), IMSLP comes up with nothing...
Does anyone maybe know another source?

Thank you in advance,
Arglmann

Hi arglmann, I have 24 Tonstücke Op.35 for Orgel zu 4 handen, they are short simple pieces for two players with three hands and one leg betweem them. In fact the secondo player plays with the right hand and the left hand takes the pedal, or should that be the other way round? Anyway I imagine you know what I mean. What is certain is that they can be played equally easily with four hands and no pedal.
If they are of any use I will post them here.
best wishes
Brian

Hi Brian,
thanks for the scores, but they are Julius André (1808-1880),
published by Johann André -
I was searching for the pieces from Johann :-)
But we'll have a look through these as well! Thanks!

Reinecke op.45

That he composed an operetta is probably the last one would have expected from Reinecke... me in any case. Enjoy the overture!

Does anyone have any knowledge of an arrangement for piano four hands of Copland Hoedown? A colleague is asking for it. I have heard of 2 pianos 4 Hands, 2 Pianos 8 Hands, 4 Pianos 8 Hands, but never one piano 4 hands.
