This is a different waltz from the one that's included in the volume of piano pieces by this composer that Alfor shared:

Valery Alexandrovich GAVRILIN
Waltz (in Memory of K. Batyushkov), for piano
Gavrilin - Waltz (in Memory of K. Batyushkov), for piano.pdf

Here's volume 17 of the mid-level works. Unfortunately, vol. 16 (and for that matter vols. 1-12! ) is not available. This volume featured quite a few more familiar faces, including some of the West's favorite Soviet-era composers (DSCH, Gubaidulina and Schnittke, though the latter didn't actually compose any of the works).

Children's Pieces by Soviet Composers, for piano - Middle Class, vol. 17 (1987)

Dmitry Borisovich KABALEVSKY - The Cavalry, op. 27/29
Dmitry Dmitryevich SHOSTAKOVICH - Sarabande, from the Music to the play 'The Human Comedy' after Balzac, op. 37 (arrangement by Yu. Chelkauskas)
Georgy Petrovich DMITRIEV - Pieces (5) on Ostinato Movements; 1. The Bear and the Stolen Honey (after the tale by Chukovsky), 2. The Grouchy Man, 3. The Memory of the Ballet, 4. Deep Reverie (Passacaglia), 5. Russian Dance (Plyaska)
Sofia Asgatovna GUBAIDULINA - The Drummer (from 'Musical Toys') ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhSvgKc1QBg )
Stefan Mnatsakanovich NAGDYAN (NAGDIAN) (Armenia) - Armenian Song (Gyulum Jan) (bio at http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... oBkbl2T_dw )
Ekaterina Sergeyevna LUZANOVA (Kyrgyzstan) - Pieces (2) on themes by M. Kurenkeyev; 1. Bayu-Bai (Hushaby), 2. On the Swing (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1020 )
Ian BURAKOVSKY - Pieces (4); 1. The Cavalry, 2. Mama Told Me..., 3. Toccata, 4. March (Burakovsky was a child prodigy. These pieces were prepared for publication by Alfred Schnittke; composer's bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1020 )
Roman Tigranovich DAVYDOV - Pieces (3); 1. Stand on Our Own!, 2. New Year's Eve, 3. The Hare and the Wolf (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1020 )
A. PODGUZOV - Waltz (no bio available)
Vitaly Semenovich KHODOSH (HODOSI) - Chorus
Arif Abdulla ogly MIRZOEV (MIRZOYEV) (Azerbaijan) - Pieces (3) from the cycle 'Children's Album', op. 31; 1. Humoresque, 2. Tamara Lullaby, 3. Bicycle Ride (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1020 )

Next up, the senior works, which certainly seem to become more substantive than the others. In the fashion of the others I've translated/posted, I don't have the nine volumes that led up to this one:

Vasily Petrovich SHIRINSKY - Waltz
Leonid Iosifovich GUREVICH (Urals) - Preludes (3) (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1020 )
Anatoly Vasilyevich SAMONOV - Volga Souvenir
Nikolai Iosifovich SILVANSKY (Ukraine) - Prelude (no. 1 from '24 preludes', book II) (bio at http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... 1zzCyGi_JA )
Boris Dmitryevich GIBALIN (Urals/Buryatia) - Pieces (4); 1. Sound and Harmony, 2. Bygones, 3. The Obelisk, 4. Mother's Voice (bio at http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... bih%3D1020 )
