galina1150 wrote: Mon Sep 11, 2023 6:56 pm Hi everyone, I just discovered a Barcarolle by the composer Adolph Gutmann here: <Snip>

I believe the performer gets some of his scores from the Pianophilia website, and I searched the archives for the sheet music for this piece to no avail. I'm sure it's buried somewhere. Can someone please point me to it? Thanks.
It's more straightforward - it's on IMSLP. Never forget to browse the "collections" tab for composer listings: https://imslp.org/wiki/Le_mus%C3%A9e_de ... _(Various)

This volume has two Gutmann pieces and Le chant du pecheur is on p300

That location is one of the top hits in google search "https://www.google.com/search?q=imslp+g ... barcarolle"

Christoph Schaffrath (1709-1763)
I could only find two sonatas in "Tresor Pianiste", but not this one in a minor. Wobbly one, was hard to scan for me.
Schaffrath C - Sonata a minor.pdf

Johann Speth (1664-1721)
From "Ars magna consoni et dissoni... das ist: Organisch-Instrumentalischer Kunst-, Zier und Lust-Garten"
Imslp has this but the download is over 100 MB big and it's almost unreadable to me.
Speth J - Partite diverse sopra la Spagnioletta.pdf

Benedikt Schultheiss (1653-1693) First mention here... He worked in Nuremberg and this Suite was published in "Muth und Geist ermunternder Clavier-Lust"

Schultheiss B - Suite.pdf
Johann Nikolaus Tischer (1707-1774)
From "Das vergnügte Ohr und der erquickte Geist.....III. Teil No.1, Nuremberg, around 1750
Tischer J - Partita.pdf

Johann Peter Kellner (1705-1772)
From Manipulus musices, 3.Stück, No.1, Arnstadt 1754
Kellner J - Ouverture.pdf

Franz Anton Maichelbek (1702-1750)
From Die auf dem Clavier spielende und das Gehör vergnügende Cäcilia, Augsburg, 1736
Maichelbek F - Sonata, Op.1_3.pdf

José Berr (1874-1947) German-born and educated composer and conductor (studies in Munich with Thuille and Rheinberger), was linked to Busoni and his circle in Zurich. Ran his own private conservatory for 30 years, Czesław Marek among the teachers. Composed mainly operas, but also chamber music, music for solo piano and three ballets.

Already have Humoreskes Op.46 No.1 and 2 in the Rarities Thread
https://www.pianophilia.com/phpBB3/view ... err#p11191

Here's the witty no.3 (again apologies for the blurry score, I'm *really* trying my best over here, the scores are in some kind of vault
and I have special permission to enter which is normally not even allowed - no scanner down there, no way of taking the scores somewhere.)
Berr J - Drei Humoresken in Fugenform, Op.46_3.pdf

Hi everybody

i'm currently looking for Philipp Scharwenka's Zwei Rhapsodien Op.85.
There seems to be just Number One one on imslp.
Does anyone have a copy?

Regards

Hi Philm93!

Have a look at the website of the Scharwenka association! They have a lot of digitized works by the Scharwenka brothers that have not been uploaded to IMSLP.

https://www.scharwenka-stiftung.de/phil ... otendrucke

Best regards
