Pianophilia

I'm going through my cassesttes and will post here links to some of the unusual finds I have. Nothing earth-shattering and the sound is mostly hissy (I didn't have good equipment) but some out-of-the-way repertoire.
Here is a short talk by Phillip Fowke about Moiseiwitsch and the pieces written for and dedicated to him. The 3 pieces played are

Cassini Etude
Chasins Prelude
Matthay Stray Fancy

All are very short.

Here is some more Frank Merrick. These items are from a 10" and a 12" Lps issued by the Merrick Record Association in 1961.

"Record 2" contents are

Side 1 Schubert - Sonata in Am op42 i moderato ii Andante poco moto
Side 2 Schubert - Sonata in Am op42 iii scherzo - allegro vivace iv Rondo - allegro vivace
Beethoven - Sonata in Em op90


"Record 4" contents are

Side 1 Mozart - Phantasie in Cm K475
Side 2 Debussy - L'Isle joyeuse
Merrick - Bonny Blue Bell (Variations on a Somerset Folk song)

The Schubert, Beethoven amd Mozart are marked as played at a Wigmore Hall recital on 29th April, 1961.

I don't know how many other LPs were issued by the Merrick record Association - presumably record 3 contains more items from the 1961 recital (as maybe does record 1). I got hold of these two from ex-library stock - I haven't come across any others so any information would be appreciated.

some rarities (I think)

Rudolf Ganz radio broadcasts

Ganz - 7 short pieces (28th August 1956)
Persichetti - Sonatine 3 (March 1959)

If anyone can confirm the titles of the Ganz pieces I'd appreciate it. This is what I could get from the cut-short announcement and the only thing written on the cassette label are these opus numbers - op10/1 op23/2 op31/1 and op31/3 - obviously not enough for 7 pieces.

Orchestra is the Lausanne Festival Orchestra conducted by Dezerzins (That's all the information that is written on the cassette box)

Nathalia Janotha recorded on 24th March 1906. A G & T test pressing 3669e of Chopin's Tarantelle.
Chopin as you are unlikely to hear it nowadays (or ever again!?)....

OK not brilliant sound but here is Angelica Morales von Sauer in 1962 playing her late husband's first Concerto with the Vienna PO under Heger.
