Sorry, Mod, maybe this is not the right place to post
Mod edit: I agree - I think it's better in this area. FB
I wanted to share my feelings, today, with You guys. The problem is : Serge Bortkiewicz, Etude, op. 3 n.2
A piece I have listened carefully very may times and a piece I love. When that happens, I mean when I love a piece, no matter how difficult it is, I have been always able to study and then to play it.
But for this "Etude", NO.
The keyboard of my grand is there, the sheet in front of me, the melody in my mind. I have played Bortkievicz, in the past, I guess I "know" him, but now, in this case, my hands and fingers will not "work". There is no way I can even start to play. Even fingering is unconfortable.
Shall I surrender to the overwhelming difficulties ?
Has that ever happened to You ?
Sadly,
