Thank you all very much for contributing to this realm of rare pieces that were posted here but were not found by anyone for a long time. Let me introduce myself.

I am Mitchell, I am 17 years old and love ragtime music just like everybody in this discussion does. I am also a ragtime composer, too. I came on this website and had found that Frank Himpsl had passed away in 2021. I should have contacted him and said how he was doing.

In his memory he left for all of us, sharing pieces that never have been found or performed by anyone recently, I wish to contribute and do my part here on this website as well. He was the greatest person that ever contributed to sharing music from his collection as well as playing the music.

Frank Himpsl will be remembered, and I give my condolences.

I share with you all 2 pieces, one of which is the rarest first edition of Jinx Rag by the great Lucian Porter Gibson.

The cover art was quite different from the Stark published version. I believe it was either supposed to be white or blue.

To answer your question, I probably believe it was due to the problem of the scanner.

Hello again. I happened to realize that no one also put a lot of Willard Robison music on this thread or shared any audio or sheet music. The attached mp3 I have is of Willard Robison playing his Up And Down In China, which was recorded in 1924. It is very different from the 1926 version that was published in his folio. I got that recording from Vincent Johnson.

Another rare attachment I have, as well as Jubilee is Eight Ball. No one, not even Robison himself, recorded it, except Bob Wright. Those scores came from RagtimeDorianHenry.
