Stcherbachev? Which composer is this?

I have another one for you guys: "Stcherbachev"

I've found two possibilities for a first name:
1- Nikolai, author of "Bagarrures-petit supplement"
2- Vladimir, author of a piano transcription of Glazunov's "Danse de Salome"

The Stcherbachev I want is the author of a Piano Etude called (in portuguese) "Tormenta" ("Torment" or "storm" in english, maybe)


Any help about this composer?

What i've found:

Neither lists has the work I'm looking for (Etude "Tormenta") or anything that resembles it...

After a little more search I'm almost sure that the work "Tourment" it is from Nikolay Shcherbachyov (Stcherbacheff) because I've found a list of his works and it seems that his Op.26 (Fantaisie-Etudes) contains two parts: 1. "Sous bois" and 2. "Tourment":

I have a scan of Op.26 (it's on IMSLP also)

and it's called "Fantaisie-Etudes, but I can't quite see where the part 2 ("Tourment") starts because the work looks like a suite with many parts. This goes accordingly with Stcherbacheff's work list at the end of Op.26 (it says "formant suite"...):

Those aren’t from the Op.26 set, rather they are the Deux fantaisie-études pour piano (WoO) issued by Bessel.

I think you meant page 118.
And there is also page 119 where "Tourmente" is the title of the page(!) and also says it was issued separately by Leduc.

Yes. It's the first of the 2 pieces you mentioned before. I couldn't find the one I'm looking for, though...
