There is … and they’re on your trail 😈 but not to worry … they haven’t caught me yet either…
I'm worried they have a headstone with my name on it.

I've found this collection of Manuel Ponce's published pieces and manuscripts (Mostly of em are copyist manuscripts) through the Internet Archive a couple of months ago that I forgot to post them in here lol, in fact the collection is actually not that complete so ignore the title but still it has more than 600 pages of piano pieces, a couple of songs, etc.
Such an astonishing collection!

I hope y'all got a lovely Christmas!

Hi, I am new to this forum and I have been researching works of Mexican composers.
I was wondering if somebody could help me find Ponce´s Miniaturas. It is a really rare set perhaps nobody can find it. They have been impossible for me to find them.
I would appreciate it if someone sends me a PDF scan.

thanks

Have you tried contacting one of the pianists who have recorded them? That often gets me free sheets very quickly.

e.g. try https://www.mus.ulaval.ca/notre-faculte ... o-dorantes

or Alvaro Cendoya via https://musikene.eus/profesorado/?lang=en

I have worked through the large file above, cleaning up each page and separating the works into separate files. There's a couple of unlabelled or illegibly named pieces in there and some fragments. Some of the scans cropped pages, and while I've added margins, there is no quick solution to missing notes.

Bingo - amazing, and many grateful thanks from me. I began on this album yesterday, so was very happy to see your message that you had both cleaned up and split these works by Ponce. Mega thanks from me.

Wish I could find a good works list for the composer - I suppose we can only hope he will be the subject of a dissertation that might give us the definitive list of his works.
