I hope they still exist, because they would be worth seeing! There are only a few listed on Worldcat. If the British Library had them I would happily scan them, but they have none as far as I can see.

Sigfrid Karg-Elert (1877 - 1933): Sicilienne for Harmonium/Piano/Organ
A short and very untypical Karg-Elert because of its simple harmonies.

Hello! Does anybody have the entire set of Wilm's Op. 12? It consists of twelve piano pieces. Unfortunately, it seems really difficult to find this score...

Very interesting question, although not easy to answer because several of the works listed contain some easy movements and some which are much more technically demanding.soh choon wee wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 8:53 am Of all the Schumann's "set piece" (example, but not limited to OP 2 Papillions, Op 6 Davidbundletanze, Op 9 Carnival, Op 12 Fantasiestrecke, Op 15 Kinderszenen, Op 16 Kriesleriana, Op 19 Blumenstueck, Op 20 Humoreske, Op 21 Novelletten, Op 23 Nachstuecke, Op 26 Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op 68 Ablum fur die Jugend, Op 82 Waldszennen, Op 99 Bunte Blatter, Op 124 Albumblatter etc.....)

Btw, Dino Ciani made a superb recording of Op.21 before his untimely death in 1974, aged just 32.

What a brilliant performance of Op 21 (very neglected, i must say, as compared to Papillions, Carnival, Kriesleriana). youthful and energetic.... wonder if he lived to ripe 70 age, how much it would fermented into wine.... (think young Arrau vs old Arrau)Timtin wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 9:03 amVery interesting question, although not easy to answer because several of the works listed contain some easy movements and some which are much more technically demanding.soh choon wee wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 8:53 am Of all the Schumann's "set piece" (example, but not limited to OP 2 Papillions, Op 6 Davidbundletanze, Op 9 Carnival, Op 12 Fantasiestrecke, Op 15 Kinderszenen, Op 16 Kriesleriana, Op 19 Blumenstueck, Op 20 Humoreske, Op 21 Novelletten, Op 23 Nachstuecke, Op 26 Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op 68 Ablum fur die Jugend, Op 82 Waldszennen, Op 99 Bunte Blatter, Op 124 Albumblatter etc.....)

Re: Composers from Germany [Misc]
Schumann's 8 Novelletten are one of his finest sets of piano pieces imo, but recordings are quite scarce. One of few currently available is Martin Helmchen's recording on the Alpha-Classics label. However, this is completely ruined by him playing a fortepiano, which sounds like a slightly-out-of-tune modern piano, or a low-bitrate MP3 file extracted from YouTube using one of the dodgy YT download sites. Having said that, the recording by Danny Driver on the Hyperion-Records label is superb!soh choon wee wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 7:34 am What a brilliant performance of Op 21 (very neglected, i must say, as compared to Papillions, Carnival, Kriesleriana). youthful and energetic.... wonder if he lived to ripe 70 age, how much it would fermented into wine....
