To fleubis;
Regarding our pending discussion of Piano Ecercises,
this might be of interest (some exercises should be shortened,
but otherwise a good way of constructing exercises from the music itself).

Re: French Piano Music
Thank you Alfred. There are many, MANY challenging exercises in the Ducasse volume. I am particularly interested in the many trill/tremelo exercises therein as those have always been a challenge for me, so there is quite a lot to keep me busy.

Along with some instrumental music, the 12 Pastorales, Op.77 and École du jeu lié of Charles Koechlin have just appeared on IMSLP.

Hello
I'm looking for Adagio Religioso by Guillaume Lekeu V.84
A beautiful piece but I couldn't find any informations so far;
There's a link to the BNF which is not working at the mom.

From that book :
https://books.google.fr/books?id=FvO8r4 ... eu&f=false
it seems to be in the form of an unpublished two-page manuscript only.

„Ravel valses fingering“
von Alexandre Tharaud, Kassel: Bärenreiter 2015;
ISMN 979-0-006-52586-7
Die Tharaudschen Fingersätze enthalten einige Eigentümlichkeiten.
Lt. Mitteilung des Verlages handelt es sich jedoch nur bei folgender Stelle
um einen Druckfehler:
Valse IV: Takt 26, r.H., letztes Achtel
This posting is related to my forthcoming review for the
German magazine „DIE TONKUNST“ (April issue).

As I don't read German is this an April 1st posting or purely a coincidence?alfor wrote:„Ravel valses fingering“

As Mr. Tharaud's fingerings are partly rather special,
I just wanted to give my readers an alternative and more thorough fingering.

Re: French Piano Music
You made a nice job of that fingering, Alfred. Thanks for posting.
