This is taken from Paul Abraham's 'poperetta' Viktoria und ihr Husar.
Honved-Banda apparently means Army Band in Hungarian.
If Liszt's Rakoczy March is too difficult to play, try this instead.
Health warning:- it's slightly addictive!

This Reinecke is very well done. Much fun playing through this and actually getting the feel for the polyhony the orchestra adds in this nice transcription.

43 minutes well spent, Alfred, and appreciated by all of us.

Here's a nice little arrangement of that famous dance from a dance...
Can't find any information on Mr. Bach....

*per the usual, any help with fixing that blasted page rotation with a re-up is most appreciated.

Two more 2H-transcriptions by Jules Rochard:
The song She wore a wreath of roses by Joseph Philip Knight (1812-1887) and Oh for the wings of adove from Mendelssohn's Hear my prayer (WoO 015).
Published by Ashdown and Duff&Stewart, London, n.d. (ca. 1860-80).

Does anyone know please if the 2H arrangement of the Andante from
Alexander Fesca's Symphony No2 in D major ever got published?

Confusingly, Friedrich Ernst Fesca also appears to have written a Symphony
No2 in D major with an andante movement.
