Not much info on this composer, except that he composed a number of works for Russian folk instruments:

Looking at the list of works posted at http://www.russiancomposers.org.uk/page420.html , I'm going to assume this is the same thing as the 'String quartet no. 2' listed there. This is taken from a 1985 volume:

And finally, a piece of Soviet-era 'light music' by one of the composers who contributed to Estrade (see previous post of piano pieces by Alfor). The only example I could find of this composer's work is a lively piece of brass band music that was written in honor of the Presnya football team. That can be heard at the following link:

As to other works, he also wrote a volume of pedagogical piano works, a set of piano variations (1976), vocal works, and music for Russian folk instruments.

Here's a short set of folk-inspired works exploring the musics of ethnic groups who lived within the borders of the Russian state (the greater part of the entire USSR). I don't know anything about the composer, aside from the fact that some of his other work was similarly geared towards Russian and minority folk musics.

Here is a piece by a woman who was, according to the included bio, the 'first professional musician' from Dagestan. I've translated the rest of that and it says:

"In 1909, she graduated from Leipzig Conservatory in piano. Later, at the same place, she studied composition and theory. Among her teachers was the pianist, A. Raizenauer,a pupil of Liszt. Following this, she performed successful concerts in Russia and abroad, engaged in diverse educational activities, and played a major role in the development of music education in Dagestan and later Kabardino-Balkaria, where she spent 30 years teaching at the music school in Nalchik.

Along with original compositions, she provided some of the first treatments of Dagestani folk music. As well, she created a special pedagogical literature (including a piano primer) with the national music material.

During the Nazi occupation and destruction of Nalchik, almost all the creative heritage of this composer was lost. Only a few works have been recovered...."

Here's Lyatoshinsky's first and third quartets. The second one (from this volume) is already available elsewhere online and the fourth is available elsewhere on this thread. According to Onno van Rijen's page, there is also a fifth one, but I'm not sure if that one was ever published:

This composer worked out of Tashkent, Uzbekistan and composed at least four other string quartets, five symphonies, and a number of other concertos and symphonic pieces. Most of his work is based on Uzbek folk motives. He also taught quite a few other composers, including Central Asian composer Yunis Mamedov:

Raukhverger was a Jewish-born composer from Odessa who attended the Moscow Conservatory under Felix Blumenfeld. After WWII, he was based in Kyrgyzstan and composed a number of works after that region's folk material. He wrote at least six quartets during his lifetime. Otherwise, he was a very prolific composer of operas, choral works, chamber pieces, and solo pieces.

There are not many works available by this composer, who was secretary of the Union of Soviet Composers in the 60s and the 70s. He wrote quite a few songs, a few other chamber works, and a small handful of works for piano, including two sonatinas. A Russian bio can be found here:
