Here's another one that crept out of the woodwork when I wasn't looking. Perhaps our friend georgeham doesn't have this one, which would be something of a rarity.

Does someone own these Bach's scores ?

Sigismund Bachrich :
Sarabande (Mvt. 5) from Partita for solo violin No. 1 in B minor, BWV 1002, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Wetzler]
Bourrée (Mvt. 7) from Partita for solo violin No. 1 in B minor, BWV 1002, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Wetzler]
Andante (Mvt. 3) from Sonata for solo violin No. 2 in A minor, BWV 1003, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Doblinger]
Prelude (Mvt. 1) from Partita for solo violin No. 3 in E major, BWV 1006, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Gutmann]
Gavotte (Mvt. 3) from Partita for solo violin No. 3 in E major, BWV 1006, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Gutmann]

Leonard Duck :
Prelude (Mvt. 1) from Partita for solo violin No. 3 in E major, BWV 1006, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Hinrichsen]

Preston Ware Orem
Bourrée (Mvt. 5) from Suite for solo cello No. 3 in C major, BWV 1009, transcribed for piano 4 hands [Presser]

Are they only transcriptions, or are they arrangements with extra-parts (as Rheinberger's arrangement of Goldberg variations) ?

We have yet recorded the Ciaccona arranged for organ duet (Reinecke) and would like to complete the violon transcription program with piano duet arrangements.
(extract on : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTOMrRYRqWQ )

Many thanks.

One work - three versions. One of the many fascinating facets of Bach's music and the inspiration it produces from other composers. Thank you Mr P from dragging these up from depths of the dungeon....forgot we had these.
