No...unfortunately at the last Garden Party, HRH said that lack of scanning for Pianophilia was not deemed traitorous enough for the Tower [almost, but not quite], so we agreed Peter could be banished to my estate in Hampshire pending he completes at least 3000 scans during his incarceration. Plus, he is some company for me as I wander the lonely corridors and rooms of the mansion. I do assure you he does get 3 meals a day [I assume gruel can be termed a meal ?]. And his room does have a lovely view of the grounds, although his chains does mean he can only see them if standing on tip-toe [well I don't want him to try to fling himself from the tower window as it must be at least 80' from the ground]. Good scanners are hard to find these days.
Thank you again for your interest in Mr P I shall inform him of this in due course.

Oscar Espla (1889-1976)......his somewhat rare Sonata Espanola Op 53
Unforutnately this was a fairly poor copy with lots of sellotape, and hence there is quite a lot of shadowing around the edges on most pages. Not sure if one of our techno wizards can clean this up ? But all the notes are there, and quite readable.

Does anyone out there have a score of Ernesto Halffter's Rapsodia Portuguesa from 1939? Brilliant piece. It would be much appreciated.

In me loft old chap, hopefully under H.
This is still in print (or it was 2 years ago) and still listed for sale on Di Arezzo and UMP catalogue.
Is that too dodgy for this hallowed turf?

Gracias! But dunno - I guess the Malc should be consulted. It's quite old though - older than me! Heard it again the other night and was enthralled.

Alas Rob and Thal...I would consider still in copyright as composer died 1989, and score is still clearly in print.
Think we would be crossing the line on that one. But agree...... a great work.

Can anybody post Lopes-Graça Piano Sonatas? I think they are great but really hard to find...
