Hi Vincent,
Thanks for posting Bargy's "Ditto!" I didn't realize that an Encore score had been transcribed from the manuscript. Much easier to read than the original manuscript for sure!
All Best,
Frank

This foxtrot doesn't seem to have a finishing point,
if you observe the repeats and the lack of a 'fine'
(or equivalent) marking. However, it's terrific fun!

Yes, it's a fun piece,
thanks for posting this version - can be quite exhausting if you read it too literally!
A request: - Does anyone have the Harry Warren composition from "Spring is Here" - "Crying for the Carolines" - I actually want the original song sheet, rather than the Johnson piano roll transcriptions.
Ampico Lexington have a charming version of it:

That's the version (or close) that I'd like.
Thanks in advance if anyone has it.
Regards,

Hello everybody,
today I'm posting a couple of hopefully interesting tunes.
The first is one of my favorite jazz numbers,
"Stomp Off, Let's Go!" composed by jazz pianist and arranger
Elmer Schoebel, of which you may remember, among the various recordings, the Erskine Tate Orchestra great interpretation (featuring Louis Armstrong - when he was still playing fine - and great pianist Teddy Weatherford).
The other piece is an interesting novelty piano solo by piano roll artist
Adam Carroll and the title, very descriptive of the piece, is "
Racing Down The Black And Whites".
Speaking of Carroll, Frank Himpsl has already posted another fine number of his, "Whirlaway", which you've certainly downloaded, and you can read something about this pianist on the AMICA website:
http://www.amica.org/Live/Organization/ ... arroll.htm
Enjoy the music!
Luigi
