Thanks for this interesting arrangement. Here's a rather pedestrian arrangement that I've had forever--I never bothered to scan it as it seems to come directly from the opera VS: I don't see the VS on IMSLP, so here's the Dance.

Here's a Youtube link to another version of this piece:

thanks for this alternate version and the link, I wonder how many version of this are out and about?

here's another:
so I listened to this and now I can't help and think of these lyrics everytime I here the tune!

Here's a scan of the old G. Schirmer edition of Edward German's Three Dances from ''Henry VIII.'' I haven't seen this particular edition in cirulation. Scanned from a poor original.

A very nice set of transcriptions, Aggelos. Especially nice to have Dohnanyi's transcription of Rondo a la Zingarese.

Thanks for posting these!

Does anyone have a transcription of the waltz Die Schönste Nacht from Korngold's operetta Die Stumme Serenade?
Or perhaps someone has the piano reduction of the entire operetta and could scan the few pages that contain this waltz?

Here's a great recording of Korngold playing and humming along to his beautiful waltz:

Thanks!
