I don't see it posted here in this forum, so Ravel / Alexandr Iharev (or Ikharev, Александр Ихарев )

It's on this rare Melodiya Vinyl, performed by Iharev himself (I don't have Vinyl player, so no buy).didi wrote: Does anyone have a recording of this transcription ?

edit - request deleted, I did not know the composer had only recently passed away (2003), still too soon to ask and post here.

Ponchielli's famous music from La Gioconda arranged by Max Hirschfeld (no bio info found on this guy, probably a staff arranger at Edward B. Marks?).
Dance of the Hours arranged for solo piano 2H

Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
Thanks for this interesting arrangement. Here's a rather pedestrian arrangement that I've had forever--I never bothered to scan it as it seems to come directly from the opera VS: I don't see the VS on IMSLP, so here's the Dance. Here's a Youtube link to another version of this piece:Scriabinoff wrote:Ponchielli's famous music from La Gioconda arranged by Max Hirschfeld (no bio info found on this guy, probably a staff arranger at Edward B.
