However, there is an article as preface, Saint-Saen commentary of Mozart's sonata.

I guess it is just a reprint of Saint-Saëns's preface in the Durand edition of Mozart's sonatas.

(i am away from home, and have no score at hand to compare) I dont think so..... that article from the China edition, is 4 pages (by saint saen) and if my memory is correct, it does not have so much musical example....

Will report back in one months time, i purchased the scores, it takes about 4 weeks to arrive.

Anyway, i never know of a Saint-saen-Durands edition......

I don't know if it's already been mentioned but Dmitri Paperno's Diary of a Moscow Pianist has a ton of information about Goldenweiser who was Paperno's teacher.
