While the duet versions of these overtures are easily accessible online, surprisingly this is not the case for the piano solo transcriptions. By pure chance I found this volume the other day on a "book flea market".

Best wishes, paolor

Hello all,

I hope someone could help me find this...

I was searching on iTunes one day and came across a recording of Gustav Lange's transcription of Schubert's famous Serenade ... (the sheet music I believe I saw at Henselt Library)... now, unfortuantely, I cannot find it on iTunes ... something tells me that I remember that it was actually mis-typed, which may make it more difficult to find again - if anyone has any ideas where this recording may be, I would very much appreciate the tip! Thanks!

Here's an NME/YT video of what appears to be an orchestrated
version of it, although it's a bit painful to watch!

Järnefelt's Berceuse transcribed for piano two hands. I haven't seen this one here. (NMS)

Very nice find! I've had a lot of fun with these today. Turned on the stereo and put on the Beethoven Overtures CD and played along. Thanks for this posting, paolor.

Painful to watch barely covers it.
