Many thanks Jim! This scan is infinitely better than the one I produced a few years ago,

Gluck's famous Menuetto grazioso from his Opera Iphigenia in Aulis in transcriptions by Joseph André, Charles Hallé and Edwin M. Lott.
Nice typo on the title page of the André transcription: Menuetto by Glück.

Thanks very much for the three transcriptions of the Gluck, FW.
I've been playing Arthur Lourié's wonderful "Menuet after Gluck" since Malcolm and Duirton so kindly posted it. I had no idea it was the exact Menuet, note for note, but with Lourié's gorgeous harmonies:
This is Mozart's replacement movement for the finale of his Piano Concerto No.5 K175,
(in the form of a set of variations), although the original finale seems perfectly okay.

As a slightly premature contribution to the upcoming Wagner bicentenary, I have posted on IMSLP Franz Bendel's excellent 'improvisation' on Walther's Preislied from Meistersinger. Someone asked me a while ago for a scan, and I don't think it has ever been posted elsewhere: http://imslp.org/wiki/Improvisation_on_ ... el,_Franz).
