Request for C.A.Fodor 3 sonatas op.2 (original), not the later issued 4 sonatas with violin accompaniments which shared the same opus
Sharing is caring:)

Dirk Schäfer Born 1873, Rotterdam: died 1931, Amsterdam. Was a Dutch concert pianist and composer of piano pieces and chamber music. A number of these works are available through IMSLP, with the exception of his Op 9 'Sonata Inaugurale' -duly posted here.

I'm also looking for Lübeck's Grandes Etudes, Op. 15 if anyone might own a PDF?Mirior wrote:I'm hoping this is the right place for this- anyhow...
I've been scouring the Internet trying to find sheet music for these pieces, all by Dutch composers (I'm pretty sure all of them are public domain- they sound Romantic to late-Romantic period to my ears, but I haven't been able to find info on all of the composers to be sure.)
Four Etudes, by Ernst Lubeck
If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: BENELUX - Music from Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg
I recently posted an etude called 'La Tricoteuse' by Martinus Sieveking (latterly an American citizen) to IMSLP.
Although, since he only died in 1950, the piece is not entirely PD, I've linked it here for anyone who wishes to risk downloading it!

He seems to have been quite a fascinating figure, as this Wikipedia entry shows:
