Does anyone have the Czerny 8 Nocturnes, Op. 368 and the 8 Nocturnes, Op. 604? Thanks!
just a friendly FYI-Czerny Nocturne hunters rejoice- nice set of them released:
http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/Nocturnes/19775991

note I corresponded with SMP about this as mainly was trying to get confirmation from them if these were modern editions i.e. updated/modern typset, cleaned up, etc. they told me this is a 'special order' type item that you basically buy through them but either drop ships from another site/distributor or they get it in then turn around and ship to you (translated they don't stock it), as such they were not able to confirm for me but told me I should be able to ask inquire w the folks at Lemoine. I will be pinging them via the interwebs in the next week or so and will update when I hear back from them on whether therse are reprints of the originals of if they put some work into them.
nice set and decent number of works for the price point relative to how scarce they can be commercially.

Thank you for mentioning this publication which follows the nice and successful recording made by Isabelle Oehmichen.
From what I understand from the end of the explanations here :
http://www.henry-lemoine.com/fr/catalog ... tage=28878
it seems that they are clear reprints from the original scores (except for the "nocturne sentimentale", which is taken from a 1931 reprint).

Oh wow- many thanks for such a quick clarification! :) Even as is (reprints and all), seems like a very nice volume to have. I had no idea about that wonderful recording (that little 176 second clip a the bottom of the link you provided was beautiful), it would have taken me 'forever' to sort this all out with google translate....

Well, now I have had a chance to see the score and in fact what they intended by "reprise des éditions originales" that I thought was was a reprint is indeed a real new score, not a mere reprint of the old ones.

I seem to recall somebody sharing Czerny Preludes and Fugues on an older incarnation of Pianophilia years ago. I lost my copy quite a long time ago. Is this still circulating? I don't see them on IMSLP. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? :D

The IMSLP Czerny -The School of Fugue Playing (Op 400) unfortunately is incomplete. It contains only the first six. Even the file name indicated so, 1-12 part 1.

Alas, now i am tempted, and who has the remainding 18??
