Excellent, one of his Spanish-flavored works, dating back from around 1851 o 1852.

A little rarity, and a composer, for which, there appears to be little in terms of biographical information.

Berthe Marx-Goldschmidt (1859-?) Born in Paris. French composer. She was allegedly the illegitimate daughter of the violinist, conductor and concert impressario, Charles Lamoureux (1834-1899). Marx-Goldschmidt was a noted musician and played in concerts with the violinist Sarasate [hence the work I've posted is based on a work by Sarasate]. Date of death appears unknown.

Maybe this is not news to anyone, but I thought some of you might be interested in the almost 3000 scores available online from the Bibliotheque Numérique, at
