Images are easily displayed, then working with the left menu you can visualize the image in the largest format allowed by your screen, then you grab the image using for example a tool like "ScreenHunter 5.1 Free". Last step : merge all the images into a pdf ... This job is particularly time consuming for large opera scores.
Thank you Caprotti for the explanation. It solves the problem nicely.
As a fan of Percy Elliott, it was pleasing to see another of his works
appear on IMSLP yesterday.

Well thanks for the explanation indeed, Caprotti, it got me a little further along the path, but alas, unlike Timtin I found that the jpgs I was attempting to download were fragments only - the jpgs appeared to be mapped (if that's the right word for an image that is split into 16 or more different components), and my downloads only secured 1 / 16th of a page.

I confess that I therefore gave up. So, Timtin, what was I doing wrong?

I may revisit the problem if time permits, but currently it doesn't !

thanks, though

regards,
tobyjj

Another Percy Elliott fan here--here's my spruced-up version of the file from IMSLP. Nice little set of pieces.

Firstly, Jim, thank you for the spruced-up Elliott.

Secondly, Tobyjj, this is what I did as in the end:- downloaded
Wisdom-soft Screenhunter 6 Free from downloadsource.net
and installed it. Using the Capture Now button, the area
required was obtained and saved as a jpg. Having done this
for every page, a pdf was produced. The main problems were
getting uniformity of the capture area for each page and the
time it took to do an entire score. Also with Milan Conservatory,
text at the bottom of the screen made things more awkward.

Thanks for the explanation,
I have another screen capture software and tried fiddling with it but it couldn't cope with an image that needed to be scrolled.

I'll look at the screenhunter.

Thanks,
tobyjj

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's on-line piano music has
now been given a welcome boost on IMSLP:-
