Posted as an example for the piano style of this well-known but rarely performed composer,
who developed a somewhat skeletal post-Prokofiev idiom:
Alexander TCHEREPNIN
Sonate en LA pour piano op. 22
Edition revue et doigtee par I. Philipp
Tcherepnin Sonate op.22.pdf
Jean Jules Aimable ROGER-DUCASSE
Variations sur un Choral
Masterly composed in a somewhat "post-Saint-Saens" style
Roger-Ducasse Variations sur un Choral.pdf

Lovely works, Alfor. Thanks for these. I love the Tcherepnin - especially the ending which is so masterly. The Roger-Ducasse is pianisticly tricky but musically rewarding.

Are you interested in such material?? I guess that only three out of eighty
downloaders have the time, interest and skill to PLAY my posted scores!
Posted as examples for the respective piano styles of three more or less obscure French composers:
Desire-Emile INGHELBRECHT
Pastourelles
nice Christmas suite, mainly based on (French?) Christmas carols
Inghelbrecht Pastourelles.pdf
Pierre MAILLARD
Fantaisie dans le rythme d'une tarantelle
obscure composer, effective piece!
Maillard Fantaisie.pdf
Jean-Yves DANIEL-LESUR
Ballade
Daniel-Lesur Ballade.pdf

Got it finally, so you have to comment on it, dear Ferruccio (Pardon wird nicht gewährt!).
Dear Alfor,
I must ask for mercy ....
How could I overlook this item !!!?
Thank you very much for thinking of my request for the Weis for such a long time distance since I asked for it.
And indeed - my nose had been correct: It IS a good piece ! Very interesting and challenging - as I love it. So indeed many Scandinavian composers are much unkown and under-rated in public concert life.
Thanks for this gem , Alfor !!

Hello, me again

My thanks have to be continued especially for the Daniel-Lesur Ballade !
It's an interesting writing IMO.
But thanks also for the other two works !
What richnesses !

Love the Daniel-Lesur specially...but thanks for Maillard too, it would be great if you could find the caprice pastoral also... Can anyone give an opinion about Boghen Preludio-Corale, it looks interesting to me, but worth exploring?
