Before checking piece by piece,I had the feeling that we must have already a good deal of them. But it not the case. Here are the ones I do not have and would be happy to sight-read !

Okay, sure! The Lange Schelmerei is Op. 292 No. 01 and believe is on IMSLP... The other Lange is Op. 277 and will need to be posted to continue with the Lange movement! Do we have a teaching materials forum for this to be posted?

and for today, an earlier Lange and the SEQUEL to his famous Flower Song! Who knew?!

These sequels were actually common. The famous Maiden's Prayer by Tekla Badarzewska was followed by a Prayer Answered.

This is taking me back over 50 years. My father used to love me playing Lange's "Flower Song". Did not know he wrote a sequel to it....and quite a bit after the original was written--at least as indicated by the opus numbers.

What a lovely sentiment! I'm so glad to hear that! I am sharing now one of my favorite transcriptions from Lange and also another upper Opus number! Enjoy!

Continued thanks for your series of pieces by Lange. I converted the score of opus 426 to B&W and cropped it a bit for easier printing. (A total of 5 minutes work--sorry no time for cleanup.) I appreciate the larger maximum resolution files, as they usually offer the greatest chance at successful reworking.

One could add to that Brahms' Liebesliederwalzer' and 'Neue Liebesliederwalzer', and at a less exalted level George Osborne's 'La Pluie de Perles' and 'La Nouvelle Pluie de Perles'. And Tausig's 'Nouvelles soirées de Vienne' (based on Strauss waltzes) was marketed as a sequel to Liszt's 'Soirées de Vienne' (based on Schubert waltzes). It is a fascinating topic, and there must be loads of other examples.
