Thank you Alfor for adding the links to your posts of Sonatas Nos. 3 & 6, plus the Garland of Leaves.

The final sonata I have from Yatsevich - his No. 5 [alas I do not have No. 4 at this time].

Malcolm, many thanks for the Yatsevich 5th Sonata. What an impressive piece this is! The 4th movement builds to one of the most brilliant climaxes I've seen in some time.

Great, Malcolm. Thank you for sharing so quickly all three sonatas with us.

It is possible to order it now.

I've been waiting for Centaur to release this for digital purchase to Classics Online. It seems to be the only one they're holding back from their recent releases. CO spoke to Centaur about it but nothing's been forthcoming. Centaur themselves haven't responded to my query about it some weeks back.

I decided to have a go at the Allemande from Kosenko's Op.19 today. The opening notes make me think of Limehouse Blues (which precedes these etudes by a few years).

Does anyone have the sonatas of Dmitry Bortniansky (1751-1825)?

A couple are published in a collection of Early Russian sheet music, but there's none of his slender keyboard output on IMSLP.
