Excellent work Timtin, perhaps alfor has an alternative toeing for you, you do have the regulation five toes on each foot I hope!
Unfortunately the present toeing is useless for me seeing as I have six toes on my right foot and your toeing just confuses me.

Brian

Dear Triple H,

Sorry to learn about the problem with your right foot.
Apart from anything else, it gives you a 10% higher
probability of getting an in-growing toe-nail. This can
be a awfully painful condition, as I can testify from
personal experience in the past.

(My own virtuoso career as a foot pianist has been
slightly hampered by a minor problem, also with the
right foot - the 2nd. and 3rd. toes are partially webbed.)

Watch this space for my next project - toed editions
of the complete piano works of Sorabji, with alternative
toeing suggestions for anyone such as your good self who
has extra toes.

Regards, Tim.

I look forward to your collaboration with HHH on the Bombardo-Carillon in B-flat major for pedal duet (four feet + an indeterminate number of toes) (1872) by Alkan. I imagine your toes are twitching to get hold of that one...

Regards
Fred

Dear Fred,

They are indeed!

Three things I'd like to add. Firstly, Buy a Broom was the the first piece I ever learnt to play,
and it's still the only piece I can play (and sing) from memory. Secondly, for simplicity
of toeing, toes 7, 8, and 9 in the above toed edition can, at the performer's discretion,
be replaced by the use of toe 6 (the big toe) throughout. Thirdly, the Arabs call the toes
'foot fingers', although there is an equal argument for calling the fingers 'hand toes'.

Regards, Tim.

I have the same problem but have found transcriptions of Henry Cowell work very well for Right Foot only versions, clusters are very easy.
As for the Bombardo-Carillon, do we know each other well enough to risk sitting in such close proximity, for Ganz that was a problem with his female pupil.

Brian
PS I would have thought fredbucket as a platypus co-dweller would be good at feet only transcriptions

Thank you Jo!
(Of course, the solution to the anagram is
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.)
Sorry that the flow of quizzes has dried up -
currently too much else happening in my life.
Regards, Tim. :-)
