Thank you so much for the Beethoven Timtin...I've already downloaded it from imslp but here in pp is much easier to find.
Maybe this is of interest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO40b5HbT0k

I think this goes in here...

Publication Name: Symphony number one : in E minor ; for piano, two hands / Jean Sibelius.
URL: https://urresearch.rochester.edu/instit ... onNumber=1
Composer:Sibelius, Jean (1865 - 1957)

Thank you for that, I thought it might be a different arrangement to the Goetschius, but it's good to have a clearer scan.

Do they have a policy of not including the arranger's name?

I take it you mean in the link, not in the score :)

I don't know, I'm afraid.

My original images of this work were obtained through a third party, so the clarity
was, unfortunately, out of my control. This was also the case with my other files of
Goetschius piano arrangements, of symphonies by Saint-Saëns and d'Indy.

By creating an account with the University of Rochester, you get all their new music
scores automatically emailed directly to you every day. I'd strongly recommend that
everyone does this. It's incredibly easy, it eliminates any reliance upon redirects, and
it gives you much more than just piano music files.

Here are two more examples of piano solo arrangements, but these are from my own
large personal collection. I dedicate these two rarities to Alex.

Thanks for the wonderful scores, Timtin. I love piano solo opera and operetta scores, and to receive two Strauss scores is wonderful. Kicking around the house is Der Lustige Krieg - do I need to scan that one or is it already done? I see only the vocal score at IMSLP.

A piano solo version of Der Lustige Krieg would be an excellent and valuable addition
to what is an extremely small collection of Johann Strauss operettas currently available
in this form - three in total, if I'm not mistaken.
Please DO scan it, if you have the chance! Musicians tend to be rather sniffy about
Strauss, but he was held in high esteem by several of the more serious composers.
