No problem. Actually, I'd been thinking about posting it ever since you made your original request,
but it needed a good clean first.

This is another offering from my collection of opera piano scores,
following yesterday's vain attempt to entertain folks with Borodin's Igor.
Bellini La Somnambule (2H Metzdorff).pdf
In the 19th. century it was more popular than Norma.

Splendid work old chap, what lovely melodies. They don't write em like this any more.

I find it difficult to read through the finale without thinking of Thalberg's take on this.

The piano solo version of Victor Massé's opera Paul et Virginie is now on Sibley.
That's the good news. The bad news is that they've omitted p.1 of the overture.
The good news is that the missing page IS available - via the vocal score of the
work on IMSLP.
I hope that this message is helpful, if not, I'll delete it.

Sorry Tim. My mind has been elsewhere as I finish my last semester in college and also work on a new transcription, which I plan to post as soon as it's done. Thank you very much for your upload to IMSLP of La sonnambula. I believe I was the first to download it some days after it was posted.. but nonetheless you are always appreciated.

No problem Alex. It's very nice to know that some folk here share my
strong interest in this genre. Actually, what I've done so far on IMSLP
is to upload a few new things on there, but I've also edited quite a
few other pages, where folk have pinched my stuff from here in the past,
then uploaded there without actually crediting the original scanner (i.e. myself).
This was quite annoying, but I hasten to add that there are a considerable
number of other people who have also suffered this same vexatious scenario.
(Elgar Syms 1&2, and Saint-Saëns Sym3, all in 2H, are typical examples
of files where I've had to correct the scanner details.)

Come to think of it, my life is filled with vexatious scenarios!

Oops, I meant to say Prince Igor, not the Bellini. I just saw that on this page and I guess it stuck in my head hah. Of course thanks for each of these though. This is an unfortunate situation that many scanners have to face. I hope these transgressions by "unknowns" don't take away too much of the joy of sharing that abounds here and at IMSLP.
