HTIEKFR wrote:Yes it's what I thought. The piece is uncomplete and probably very hard to find.
The "Médiathèque Hector Berlioz", in CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), has it.

Tonight I ran across a name completely unfamiliar to me, so I can't claim to know that he has composed anything for piano. Could someone enlighten me about Henri Hirschmann? Since I ran across the name in an opera context, perhaps the vocal music friends may be more familiar with him.

Thanks,
Greg

And:

Try some Broadway site.

Well, its half part of the threads subject.
Which means its french. At least the whole work is written in french.
My friend recieved this work called "mozart" and is only 1 page long. But by purpose, it is remained anonymous.
At least the composer is french ( i guess so, since its all in french).
We assume the work belongs to the early 20th century (but some others says its the 21st)

Who can help me solve this mystery?
Who is the author of "mozart"

Tony

In december 2008, I asked this website if Henri HIRCHMANN (without S !) had written works for piano. The answer was :
"Il semble que Hirchmann a bien composé des œuvres pour piano.
Nous sommes en train de faire des recherches sur ce compositeur pour lequel nous avons des informations pas toujours fiables.
Notre article est à revoir. Par contre le tableau de ses œuvres théâtrales est valable."

A wild guess here - is it from Reynaldo Hahn's Mozart?

Hahn titled it with a single "mozart"?. Because thats how it is titled. is it only 1 page of music?
I know its a really awkward question i am asking, but lots of my friend and myself just got stuck in to this sort of awkwardness.

Isokani??

By the way, the work is in f major. (any idea?)

I have found one piece titled "Mozart", by Vincent d'INDY.

It's part of

"Pour les enfants de tout âge, op. 74
Chronologie abrégée de la musique, des formes et des styles du piano"
24 Pièces
Date de composition : 1919

I did'nt see the score, so I don't know if it is in F major.
You can try on IMSLP, I have downloaded it but the document is completely white. If you get it, can you share it here ?
