Thank you folks...I always aim to stimulate and hopefully please ! And also thanks to Frank for the new Alexandrov works [A and N].....undoubtedly very rare works.

My next postings on this thread are works by Evgenii Pavlovich Pavlov. Beyond dates on the scores, which place him at the beginning of the 20th century, I am unable to locate any further biographical data on him.

Op 1 Lyrical Pieces [Book 1] – Nine Preludes
Pavlov E - Op 1 No. 8 Prelude.pdf
Op 2 Scherzo in C# minor (Gos Mus Ind 1922)

Op 3 Lyrical Pieces [Book 2] – Three Preludes (Gos Muz ind)

Op 4 “La Mer” Impressionistic Etude [originally for Orchestra] (Editions D’Etat c. 1925)
Pavlov E - Op 4 'The Sea' Impressionistic Etude.pdf
Op 5 Piano Sonata No. 1 “The Heroic” (Gos Muz Ind 1923)

Op 8 Piano Sonata No. 2

Waltz 'In Memory of Scriabin'
Pavlov E - Waltz 'To Memory of Scriabin'.pdf
Unfortunately, I only have one of the preludes from Op 1, but also included is Op 4 'La Mer' and the Waltz to Scriabin [apologies, there were some old sellotape marks on last page of the waltz, but have tried to scan with these as faded as possible]. I will post the two sonatas later in the week or at the weekend.

Oren asked me if I had the complete book 1 from Genari Karganov's [Korganov] opus 20 Album Lyrique [book 2 is available either on IMSLP or our archive...plus there have been odd selections from book 1]. So here is the complete Book 1 freshly scanned this evening !

Does anyone have an alternate scan of Liadov's Deux Intermezzi Op.7? The scans on IMSLP and previously posted here both have a missing page on the second intermezzo and instead duplicate the last page. It jumps from measure 34 to 75. Thanks! I noticed while playing this today that the ending is obviously influential to Bortkiewicz as in the second movement of his second symphony. It's a short passage but incredibly familiar and satisfying. I'm referring to the left hand chords on the bottom of the last page of the second intermezzo :).
