Some one have it?
Are you still needing it? Ainley wrote to me on your behalf too.
I have it and can scan it if you haven't yet secured a copy.

Fresh off the scanner.
Sorry I've been very lazy with scanning these past years, partly because I know that everything posted here will eventually turn up at that website-we-shan't-speak-about to be sold for profits. I only scan on a need-to basis nowadays. Anyway here you are. Enjoy!

Hi:

The actor Lyle Moraine composed the song "Christmas Island" I have a copy that I would be happy to upload, if it is in the public domain.

On the other hand, I am interested in knowing if he composed other songs and his bio.

I will appreciate any information or hint about him.

ILU.

The largest amount of biographical information I've gleaned is here: https://www.thehistoricalsociety.org/hi ... sland.html

Moraine (1914-1988) appears to have had his first song credits when he was only 21, and his acting career came later. While he appeared in some notable films like Vertigo, he seems to have been confined to bit parts.

Thank you very much for the information, do you know any place where they can get his compositions?

Just Google "Lyle Moraine sheet music" for names of pieces and options to purchase or search further.

Since his music is still inc copyright you'll probably have to rely on eBay or similar.
The Australian National Library lists 4 pieces but they're not available online for copyright reasons: https://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Search/Hom ... hatimean=1
