I would like to submit my transcriptions of the final movement from Scriabin Symphony #2 and the opening of his Symphony #3. I used Alfor's generous recent 4H contribution to generate these using commercial software and a "lot" of tweaking. I would like to do some more works which I think do not exist (are are not available) in 2H transcriptions. These include:
Sibelius Symphony #2
Shostakovich: Festive Overture
Vaughan William's Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis
Delius Song of Summer
Mahler Symphony #3 first movement
Grieg Symphonic Dances
Dvorak Serenade for Strings
Schoenberg Verklarte Nacht
]
Checked my collection but found none of these. I'm also seeking a Thomas Tallis 2H arrangement.

Please note that Scriabin Syms 2 & 3 arranged for 2H by Pavchinsky were posted here by yours truly last year (Aug 21).
It seems a shame to spend huge amounts of time and effort producing additional 2H versions of these great works,
when none at all exists for Sym 1 in this form.

At regards the above list, 'me neither' is the answer. It would be wonderful to see a 2H version of Sibelius Sym 2,
but unfortunately we only have Syms 1 & 5 in this form.

I looked back through my mess of old MIDI and notation files and see I started a 2H VW Tallis about 10 years ago and never finished it. I have some of the Sibelius 2 MIDIs there too for some future effort.

There is a Two Piano arrangement by Maurice Jacobson of RVW's Tallis published by Curwen. Maybe you could get that by interlibrary loan and thin it out a bit? Maybe some nice person here has that edition?

Must be a recent discovery as he died in 1976 http://www.musicweb-international.com/c ... cobson.htm.

Maybe he also did a single piano version. He did both 4H and 2H versions of Warlock's Capriol Suite.

Which searching Boosey's site for it, I found another listed in a collection of arrangements by Richard Lloyd http://www.kevinmayhew.com/info/contrib ... lloyd.html. Can't tell the level of the arrangement but I'd guess no more than 2-3pp per piece in a 32pp book.

Faber also list a duet arrangement: http://www.fabermusicstore.com/Tallis-F ... 60199.aspx

A couple of years ago, I narrowly missed out on buying one of the RVW symphonies
arranged for piano solo. I think it was No1, but can't remember for sure. Can anyone
shed further light on it please?
Here's an old scan re-uploaded - someone else's No1 - unfortunately it's not very tidy.

Here's another old file of mine, which isn't of great scan quality,
but which may nevertheless be of interest. If I weren't so lazy, there
are quite a number of other rare 2H transcriptions here I could scan.
(These works are ones which aren't available in any German library.)

Bliss! Thanks Tim. It's one of his best works but Music for Strings, the Colour Symphony & Melee Fantasque are even better.

There's an arrangement of the London Symphony by Vally Lasker available for purchase here:http://www.stainer.co.uk/rvw.html

Sample pages: http://www.stainer.co.uk/images/pdf/37040.pdf

Some duet and organ arrangements of RVW symphonies also.

YouTube is a good place to locate newer arrangements, e.g. Symphony No. 5 part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUxRAhZ3dQg with PDF available for a donation at http://www.vkgoeswild.com/
