The waltzes by Wrede I find surprisingly good - would love the first and second part (Folge), but can't find them.

Thank you Timtin for this Cowen piece, and than you Paolor for these 4h waltzes which seem not too difficult. I always found the name of "Translateur" rather comic by the way.

Léonard Gautier
Here is a very light piece - 'Fairlop Fair' - by the French composer Léonard Gautier (1866-1955). Such are the vagaries of copyright law that this very old piece, played in an 1893 pantomime, is still in copyright until 2026 because Gautier started publishing music when he was young and lived to be very old!
