Piano Transcriptions for two hands
Minuet from Handel's Berenice
Hi, does anyone have or can tell me how I can get a copy of the solo piano score of Handel's Minuet from Berenice.
Thank you very much,

There must be a few X-LISZT-HOROWITZ-VOLODOS or comparable arrangements around, particularly of Saint-Saens and Bizet works.Timtin wrote:In this rescan, Schubert's song Der Wanderer has the distinction of being an arrangement
by Schubert himself, rearranged by Liszt, then rerearranged by Friedmann and Wöss.
Is this a record?

Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
No Benerice Minuet here unfortunately, so here's something else by Handel instead.
The metronome markings are based on pendulum lengths in inches and the overture
has with the direction 'A pendulum of 23 inches will vibrate the time of the crotch!'
(Was William Crotch trying to rename the crotchet after himself?)

I expect the moment has now passed, but here's the music anyway.elbert wrote:Hi, does anyone have or can tell me how I can get a copy of the solo piano score of Handel's Minuet from Berenice.

Here's the final transcription I had started in my yesteryears and finally finished now. Sammartini's adorable Symphony!

Now even I can play Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata (and with minimal practice). Here's Godowsky's "educational adaptation" of the Kreutzer for two hands. Pay attention ... there's a quiz at the end!

It's up on IMSLP, along with Winkler's more advanced 2H arrangement, and Langer's for 2P4H.passthesalt wrote:Now even I can play Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata (and with minimal practice). Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
Well, dang. I checked Godowsky arrangements on IMSLP before posting it. They must have it under Beethoven - who'd have thought to look there? Wait, they have it under "Violin." However, their scan is different - it does NOT include the valuable quiz at the end.sgambatiesque wrote:It's up on IMSLP, along with Winkler's more advanced 2H arrangement, and Langer's for 2P4H.passthesalt wrote:Now even I can play Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata (and with minimal practice).
