Elgar said of the main melody in this march that it was the kind of tune that blessed a composer usually just once in their lifetime.

After a month of (enjoyable) toiling on this in my free time, I present to you all a 2-hand transcription of Muzio Clementi's first symphony. I hope to do more symphonies when I have time. This is my thank you to the community of Pianophilia and all the enjoyment it has brought me, thanks everyone!

P.S. I would also like to upload this to IMSLP and make it available for everyone. Is there anyone who can walk me through this, such as making a transcription section under the symphonie's full scores, and applying a Creative Commons License on it?

It's not very difficult, as the process is form driven and prompts you for the relevant information, and the copyright reviewers/site admins will move things to the correct place on the page, if necessary, during the approval process.

You can find the basic instructions here: http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Contributor_Portal.

This is absolutely excellent work! Many thanks for sharing it, and please do some more Clementi symphonies if you have the time.
Best wishes from Tim.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed it! I plan to transcribe all of Clementi's symphonies eventually, although I'm not sure if I can release the 4 numbered ones since they are under copyright, having been unpublished and then reconstructed. I'm working on cleaning up and finishing a couple transcriptions I did years ago, and shared here. Here's the first one: Mozart's first symphony!
