Fun.
Timtin, your PDF are still not able to be read with some PDF-readers, other than Adobe.

Hi JS. I've deactivated the security password which Irfanview 4.38
asks for when converting a multi-page tif into a pdf. If you'd like to
download the file below, I'd be interested to know if that fixes
the problem. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

No, Tim, unfortunately, it does not solve the problem.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm not sure what is causing the problem.
Maybe it's the version of Irfanview, or the plugins, or the computer's OS
that's causing it. I'll investigate further.

Thanks Parag. Yes, it works perfectly but is considerably larger.
As discussed before, I can open Tim's files with Adobe 9. I can even reprint it in Adobe and obtain a light file, that all my other PDF readers can read :
Krotsch Russian Fantasy (no security)-1.pdf
But of course, it would be beter if Tim's files were immediately readable by other PDF readers (TWINUI, PDF Architect).

Agreed!
Please note, I use UniPDF v1.2 freeware to convert some PDFs uploaded to Pianophilia
back into sets of image files. Then I make new PDFs, having done any necessary editing,
and having deleted any pages in those files which weren't in the original scores.

Attached a little piece Rhine Steam Boat Galop composed by Alfred Mullen sen. (?-1881).
Note the funny Pseudo-German title Rhein Dämpfer and the wonderful kitchy cover, that show us the Fortress Ehrenbreitstein at the so called German Corner in Coblenz.
Published by B. Williams, London, n.d. (~1860).
