I found this piano transcription of the Bach "Gigue Fugue" for organ on the National Library of Australia website. Evidently, this transcription, by Claude Monteath, is public domain. I do not know whether there are other, better transcriptions available. Perhaps someone on the forum is aware of one.

Yes, true. But being a completist, I always prefer whole works, if available.

I think you're right about that. The trio movement encompasses a melody of such quality that it knocks everybody flat.

Yes, "Klavierauszug" in most cases means "vocal score" - one example where the English language is more exact!!

Thanks for the clarification Timti, and that the German word causes confusion
