I found this piano transcription of the Bach "Gigue Fugue" for organ on the National Library of Australia website. Evidently, this transcription, by Claude Monteath, is public domain. I do not know whether there are other, better transcriptions available. Perhaps someone on the forum is aware of one.

Timtin wrote:Having checked my collection of Wagner operas in 2H, this is what I have:-

Rienzi, Hollander, Tannhauser (all arr. Doebber ed. Furstner)
Walkure, Rheingold, Gotterdammerung, Parsifal (all arr. Kleinmichel ed. Schott)
Lohengrin, Tristan (both arr. Schneider ed. Breitkopf & Hartel)
Siegfried, Meistersinger (both arr. Singer ed. Breitkopf & Hartel).

Strangely, nothing arranged by Klindworth. To be honest, and correct me if
I'm wrong (usually am), I thought he was more of an editor than an arranger.
In fact he didn't write complete 2H of Wagner, just excerpts e.g. .....

Wagner - Parsifal - Vorspiel (2H Klindworth).pdf

Yes, true. But being a completist, I always prefer whole works, if available.

Elgar said of the main melody in this march that it was the kind of tune that blessed a composer usually just once in their lifetime.

I think you're right about that. The trio movement encompasses a melody of such quality that it knocks everybody flat.

you should find some of them at IMLSP

Thank you very much to you too, Caprotti. I already downloaded from there.

Yes, "Klavierauszug" in most cases means "vocal score" - one example where the English language is more exact!!
Thanks for the clarification Timti, and that the German word causes confusion
