Newly aquired and promptly shared :D :

Frank MERRICK*
Practising the piano (4th Impression, New York, 1968)
"Aus der Praxis für die Praxis..." - immensely practical book!
Merrick Practising the piano.pdf
*typical British "gentleman pianist". His recorded legacy is small, with some excellent Bax (I posted the 2nd sonata), Beethoven, Schubert, Rawsthorne, Reger, his own sonata, etc. One word of caution: if you want to explore his recordings, please stay away from the late Field and Clementi discs!

Soviet Anthology of foreign contemporary composers:
Rieti, Jongen, Donovan, Barber, Honegger, Schönberg, Hindemith, Copland, Absil, Britten, Guarnieri, Bartok, Webern, Messiaen
Anthology contemp. foreign composers A.pdf
Anthology contemp. foreign composers B.pdf

Thank you so much, Alfor, for these new scores. Does the anthology contains rarities or are they some of the most known works of the composers?

Dear Peter, dear pianojay,

thank you for your "input"! - Yes, the late Busoni considerably changed his piano technique, playing scales and arpeggios completely without "thumb-under" (see Klavierübung vols. 1-4).

Aleksandar TANEV
(obscure bulgarian composer: http://www.ubc-bg.com/en/composer/168)
Legends of Bulgaria (1973)
Tanev Legends of Bulgaria.pdf
Sergei S. PROKOFIEV
Waltz from Cinderella op. 102
Prokofiev Waltz from Cinderella.pdf
Dear Alfor:

Thank you for posting Tanev’s score.

On Page 5 part of the Index was scanned above the score; could you please rescan this page?

Thanks again.

Why not have a look yourself??!! - I would say Rieti, Jongen , Guarnieri (less so Honegger, Absil, Messiaen) might be called rarities.

Because I do not know Russian, but thanks anyway!
Ilu, if I am not wrong the page 6 is where the piece really begins, and if you check you will see that the music it is the same as page 5.

yes, page 5 is identical with page 6 - apart from the attached note sheet with corrections (errata).

This composer does not seem to be in your usual range of interest. Fortunately, the edition is soviet !
Thanks a lot for all you share here.
