"Aus der Praxis für die Praxis..." - immensely practical book!

*typical British "gentleman pianist". His recorded legacy is small, with some excellent Bax (I posted the 2nd sonata), Beethoven, Schubert, Rawsthorne, Reger, his own sonata, etc. One word of caution: if you want to explore his recordings, please stay away from the late Field and Clementi discs!

thank you for your "input"! - Yes, the late Busoni considerably changed his piano technique, playing scales and arpeggios completely without "thumb-under" (see Klavierübung vols. 1-4).

Why not have a look yourself??!! - I would say Rieti, Jongen , Guarnieri (less so Honegger, Absil, Messiaen) might be called rarities.

Ilu, if I am not wrong the page 6 is where the piece really begins, and if you check you will see that the music it is the same as page 5.
