Re: Scriabin, his circle and his influence
As far as I know, these works for piano have been scanned (I very well may be missing pieces known to members of the forum):isokani wrote:Might it be worth at this stage to ascertain which of Sabaneyev's pieces have been scanned? I have a feeling that everything up to op.16 has been done. I, however, have some Preludes without opus number! These are early pieces -- is there a need for me to preserve them digitally for posterity, or has someone beaten me to it? It would be quite nice to have a CD of his piano music one of these days. It would make a rather strange CD, I think, but rather a good one!
Opuses 2 -7, Op. 12, Opuses 14-16
I'd love to hear anything else by Sabaneyev, and a cd would be a unique experience.

The bulk of Sabaneyev's earlier works to Op 16 and the four preludes were available through Sibley if memory serves me right. If not I'll post in the Archive as they have been posted many times over on PP.Roncesvalles wrote:As far as I know, these works for piano have been scanned (I very well may be missing pieces known to members of the forum):isokani wrote:Might it be worth at this stage to ascertain which of Sabaneyev's pieces have been scanned? Re: Scriabin, his circle and his influence
Has anything by Sabaneyev been recorded? I would particularly like to hear the piano sonata (especially on a piano with the extra keys, of course).
