Re: Etudes
I was actually disappointed, that was the time when I was a full time master student in University of London (and Royal Academy is part of UOL which award their degree scroll for RAM) and I also hold a Sconul Library membership.
It was understanding that, students of UOL can enter any of the UOL libraries (perhaps not for borrowing, but certainly for browsing)... but the librarian at RAM rejected it, and after much negotiation, they permit me for one hour... that is how I discover the series. Specificallly, I find the volume on wrist movement very interesting from a pedagogical point of view.
And they reject my using of Sconul libray membership too (although they should, as a reciprocal gesture to my Home library).
That is why, I decided to ask, is there anyone who could upload the book, it is 1929 (or 1933) and not in print... so there should be no issue on copyright. Anyway, is Augener Edition still functioning??

Re d'Argenton – I'd be delighted if, when you receive the etudes from Berlin, you might make them available here?Caprotti wrote:The other 6 are on my wishlist c/o Berlin state Library

Re: Etudes
4Candles, Thanks for the lovely Schuloff Etudes, it does indeed fill a gap. I especially enjoyed the Bernard Badinage etude and the interesting challenges it presents.

Re: Etudes
Another attractive piece to get the fingers working - this time a Barcarolle-étude by an Ernest d'Agrèves:

Re: Etudes
It's available in various italian libraries but I think it deals only with a collection of fingered well known etudes :
· Vol. 1.: Studii tolti da Chopin, Clementi, Cramer, Czerny, Kessler, Kreutzer e Moscheles / di I. Philipp
Vol. 2.: Studii tolti da Chopin, Cramer, Czerny, Kessler, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Schumann e Weber / di I. Philipp

Re: Etudes
Thanks Caprotti. The pieces I am particularly interested in are those by Kessler and Kreutzer, so if a PDF ever does surface, I'd love to see it!Caprotti wrote:It's available in various italian libraries but I think it deals only with a collection of fingered well known etudes :
