Yvar Mikhashoff did some of these -- they're mostly published by Peters.
Does anyone have a scan of Lucien Garban's 2 hand version of Carnival des animaux? It is blocked on imslp despite the description of it being PD.

Does anyone have the transcription of Schubert's op. 100 (D929?) piano trio?
The 2nd movement Andante con moto is a great example of inspiration; from the Swedish folk song "Se Solen Sjunker", trad.: See the sun sinks or simply Sunset.
