Re: Iberia: Piano Music from Spain & Portugal
Jose Iturbi (1895-1980) - Spanish conductor, pianist & harpsichordist. This work had been posted previously by Scriabinoff (I think) - but I had a cleaner b/w copy so duly scanned and shared.

Re: Iberia: Piano Music from Spain & Portugal
Many thanks for this cleaned up version Malcolm. I recall scanning this but also remember frustration with limitations on imaging hardware and processing software sometimes not yielding conversions I wanted or allowing me to tweak things. It's a welcome alternate to my original UL.
btw, audio for those wanting to hear what it sounds like

Re: Iberia: Piano Music from Spain & Portugal
Does someone happen to have the full score (or a reduction) for the Rodrigo's Concierto Madrigal?

Still under copyright, given the composer's relatively recent passing...Mercuzio wrote:Does someone happen to have the full score (or a reduction) for the Rodrigo's Concierto Madrigal?

Re: Iberia: Piano Music from Spain & Portugal
I didn't scan all the items, I left out the pieces by Albeniz, Lecuona, Villan-Lobos, E. Granados, de Falla. They are easily available and my album is already falling to pieces.
Greetings,
kroket

Thank you, Kroket! Several pieces here I'm unfamiliar with. Time for some fun with these.

Hi
Carlos Suffern is an argentinian composer (and not "spanish"...)
From Wikipedia (german)
Carlos Suffern (* 25. September 1901 in Luján; † 31.
Best regards

Yes, the full title of the album is Colleccion de obras Espanolas and Iberoamericanas.
In the table of contents the country of each composer is given.
But your information on this composer is very welcome, so thank you!
Greetings,
kroket
