Dear Alfor,

Thank you for fingering this monumental Sonata, which has always been a favorite. And for your incredible work on all the Prokofiev Sonatas and many Rachmaninov pieces as well. This is a major contribution worthy of publication. Have you ever considered one of the giants such as Peters, Boosey, Barenreiter etc. to formally typeset and publish your editions? I think they might sell beyond the expected library sales, as many pianists would benefit greatly from your ideas. Have you ever considered Scriabin No. 8? The blindingly fast patterns in fourths are a major obstacle (as is the length of the work). I once had the pleasure of having those fourth passages demonstrated to me by a great pianist, but unfortunately did not make notes. All I can remember is that a great deal of cross-hand work was involved.

Well, Alfred, clearly a lot of work went into that Berg. It is certainly NOT my cup of day, but am looking forward to playing through it to see what insights your fingering yields. (No, I don't like the violin concerto either! )

But I've got joyful Rach to play through with some amazing "enablers" fingering-wise.

Thank you for the Adler, FW190. I was rather surprised to see that a publisher would publish a movement from a Sonata (piano-presumably). I don't recall seeing this practice very often (yes, the Moonlight Sonata does come to mind!)

I am new in this forum. It is so amazing how wonderful scores have been uploaded. I am looking for a version of Schubert's Sonatas with pedalling. I think there is one edited by Conrad Ansorge (Tonsmeister Ausgabe - Verlag Ullstein). Could someone upload these versions? I am interested in the last 8 sonatas.
