Re: Walter Niemann
Dear Niemann fans,
I just received today the latest catalogue (Katalog 116) from the Antiquariat Paul van Kuik in Kranenburg Germany. He has a pile of Niemann scores for sale, maybe there is something there you are looking for.
Good hunting
Brian

Oh my god, that's very cool! Thank you very much for your information!
PS If somebody is interested in Im Wetter, op. 27 please send me a private message with your email adress, so I can send you the score. Please note that the score is for private use ONLY! I'm not allowed to upload it.
PPS I ordered the scores of Efeu und Rosen, Drei poetische Studien No. 1, Zwei Klavierstücke No. 1 (Venezia), Drei Tangoimpressionen, Die lustigen Chinesen, Japanischer Wandbehang, Altenglischer Weihnachtstanz, Mosaik, Weiße Rosen, Kleine Balletsuite, Der gelbe Tango and Die Wohnung des Glücks. Re: Walter Niemann
I asked the current owner of all Niemann manuscripts and printed sheet music to get information about the "lost" works. I got an answer and she told me that she will contact her brother and her father to get the manuscripts. If these works aren't there I think they are probably lost...
PS. what do you think what kind of pieces Palmengarten, Ein Tag im Funkhaus, Japanischer Wandbehang, Aquarellen, etc. are? I think Palmengarten is like Der Orchideengarten - full of colours and poetry! Ein Tag im Funkhaus may be like Messplatz or the other later Niemann works (short sketches). Japanischer Wandbehang sounds like something orchestral or a Fantasy for piano?? Aquarellen may be like his Wasserpastelle? It's so interesting to think about these works!
