Yes, by the inveterate transcriber Vally Lasker who I think worked with Holst for a while. nms tttos

The Haunted Place and Destiny are the names Joseph Holbrooke
gave to his two Fantasy Sonatas for piano. Copies exist in the BL,
but I wonder if anyone here also has them?
Btw, this link gives a very interesting account of Holbrooke,
warts and all. Apparently, he, Scott and Goossens were the
3 dirty old men of British music. I can't give the exact quote
from the text, since dire consequences would result, according
to the nonsense given at the bottom of the article!

Sibley have just released two out of three volumes of sonatas by that well-known English composer, Muzio Clementi.

Well we can say that Cherubini was French and Spontini german and so on ...
Personally I think that all those composers were basically europeans.
btw the Litolff edition is very important because assembles the greatest number of Clementi's Sonatas in a single publication.
However many of those must be renamed, because they are in conflict with Tyson's catalogue.
Am I wrong or Sibley didn't load volume III ?
