Now here is the last installment of Mr. M. (i.e. we have the complete
opus numbered works**!):
nms:
Aleksandr MICHALOWSKI
Mazourka op. 16
http://www.mediafire.com/?hf1i2gc2wl5k99k
Mazourka op. 19Michalowski Mazourka op.19.pdf
Reverie op. 24Michalowski Reverie op.24.pdf
**op. 32 is a "missing opus"
P.S. I am planning a recital with missing opus numbers. So far I have scheduled:
Michalowski: op. 32
Enescu: Sonata op. 24 No. 2
any more suggestions?
There is another piece with opus number, the Polonaise op.36, but that remained unpublished. It would be great to obtain also the Preparatory Exercises to Chopin's Etudes, published by Gebethner & Wolff.
Regards

Dear Alfor,
I cannot thank you enough for the Michalowski. Well done in finding all that you have.
His music is very enjoyable to play, and I am certainly enjoying it.
Best wishes.

Dear Alfor
May I too add my thanks for all the Michalowski; of all the wonderful repertoire posted on Pianophilia, for me this has been the jewel in the crown, both for the rarity value and for the quality of the music.

How curious these exercises are, what with all the 10ths.......not many to be found in Chopin.
I am glad to see the enthusiasm expressed for your Michalowski postings, Alfred--which is well deserved--and I certainly share it.

Dear Peter, you are welcome!
Just want to say again that we now have M.'s
complete works with opus numbers!
Missing (as far as I found out): the above mentioned Chopin exercises, a transcription of Weber's "Perpetuum mobile" (which is similar to that of Brahms) and some Sonatinas (probably composed for teaching purposes).
